HEALTHY ROOTS
The story behind Healthy Roots — and why root cause healing
became our life's work.
Where it began
I did not plan to build a root cause healing practice.
I planned to be a physical therapist. To help people move better, hurt less, and recover from injury. That was the work I trained for, believed in, and devoted the first years of my career to.
And then my family got sick.
Not in a vague or manageable way. Our children were struggling with autoimmune symptoms that nobody could explain. I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at 43 — the same condition my mother had managed for years with methotrexate, injections, and fluid drained from her joints.
| My mother chose the conventional path. I chose a different one. I never took a single prescription pill. Today I am completely pain free.
But the journey to get there was not simple or quick. It took years, 25 doctors, and eventually a trip to Texas to the Tennant Institute — where Dr. Jerry Tennant and Dr. Faldmo were asking the questions nobody else was asking. Not what is your body doing. But why has it lost its ability to heal itself.
The answers we found there — about healing and voltage, about pH and internal terrain, about the emotional roots of physical illness and the electrical wiring systems of the body — changed everything.
They became the foundation of Healthy Roots. And they became the reason I wake up every morning and do this work.
What I do
I lead the 180 Health Transformation — our 8-module, faith-rooted, root cause healing program available to anyone, anywhere in the world, who is ready to finally understand what is driving their chronic illness and how to address it from the inside out.
I am also a licensed Physical Therapist, Certified Bioenergetic Practitioner, and Holistic Health Coach. I work with clients in person in Hickman and Lincoln, Nebraska — through physical therapy, bioenergetic scanning with the Qest4 system, and one-on-one consultations that go far deeper than a standard appointment ever could.
Everything I do is rooted in the belief that God designed your body with an extraordinary capacity to heal. My job is simply to help you understand how.
What I believe
I believe your body is not broken.
I believe the fact that everything looks normal on your labs does not mean there is nothing wrong — it means nobody has looked in the right places yet.
I believe chronic illness is not a mystery. It is a root cause that was never identified.
And I believe that healing — real, lasting, root cause healing — is possible for every person willing to ask the harder questions and do the deeper work.
Every appointment that failed us. Every year without answers. Every valley our family walked through.
All of it was working together. For this.
A note on Chad
My husband Chad is a Doctor of Pharmacy with 28 years of clinical experience. He is the other half of everything we have built at Healthy Roots — his pharmaceutical background, his understanding of nutrient depletion, and his willingness to ask why after nearly three decades of managing symptoms informs everything we teach.
Chad works with clients via phone consult only. His expertise has helped shape our supplement recommendations, lab interpretations, and the 180 Health Transformation.
Healthy Roots is the result of both of us saying yes to a completely different kind of healing and lifestyle for our family.
When I am not working
Outside the practice I am a wife, a mom, and a woman who knows what it is to sit in the valley and wonder if the other side is real.
I start my morning with two chairs — one for me and one for God. I spend several minutes of stillness before the day begins. But those moments of simply listening — of choosing presence over productivity before anything else — are the foundation my day is built on.
I love being outdoors, especially near water and near trees. You will find me playing pickleball, tennis, biking, on a nature walk, or simply sitting somewhere quiet watching the world move at the pace God intended.
I fill every spare moment I can find with the people I love most — family and friends who remind me why the healing work matters.
I am also a forever learner. There is always a book open somewhere in our home — the kind that reshapes how you see the world. Root cause research, biblical theology, the science of healing, the stories of people who refused to accept the limits they were handed. That hunger to keep learning is part of what drove us to build Healthy Roots — and part of what keeps us growing.
I would love to meet you
